I just had my first commissioned SAVAGE MUSE pet portrait....and I am hooked! A client asked me to do a portrait of this adorable Goldendoodle as a Christmas gift for her sister-in-law. The fur baby, Millay, was named after reknowned Pulitzer Prize winning poet, Edna St. Vincent Millay--who is definitely a SAVAGE MUSE and a very iconic woman.
After learning a bit about Millay the dog and Millay the poet, as well as getting some basic info about the gift recipients persona tastes (ie what colors does she like, etc)---I went to work.
